Home / Our Initiatives

We have launched project GHANTI - a collaborative effort of ICHF, SpHear Speech & Hearing Clinic, The Hans Foundation (THF) to help get free/ subsidised devices used for treatment of deafness eg : hearing aids, cochlear implants.
A number of free camps are being carried out by the clinical staff of SpHear Clinics and Adventis ENT Clinicsat various towns and cities such as Patna, Noida, Faridabad, Rohtak, Palwal etc. Numerous patients were examined, their hearing tested and were listed for free/subsidised treatment.
Many children are getting subsidized / free hearing and speech therapy by therapist of ICHF in collaboration with SpHear Speech and Hearing Clinic.
Parent counseling sessions are taking place every Saturday at the SpHear premises for families of children with hearing losses.
Through our CI Advocacy program, cochlear implant recipients and their families engage directly with individuals and parents who are beginning their journey. By facilitating structured interactions between experienced recipients and new candidates, we offer reassurance, practical insight, and emotional confidence – often answering questions that only experience can address.
Through the support of individual benefactors and CSR partners, the foundation provides and fits appropriate hearing aids for children and adults with mild to moderately severe hearing loss, ensuring access to essential hearing care for those in need.
Children and adults with severe to profound hearing loss who derive limited or no benefit from hearing aids may be candidates for cochlear implantation. This life-changing intervention requires not only advanced technology but also coordinated medical, rehabilitative, and financial support.
Through our collaboration with The Hans Foundation (Project Ghanti), individual benefactors, CSR partners, and the cochlear implant team at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, the foundation facilitates access to cochlear implant surgery at highly subsidised costs for eligible beneficiaries.
Post-implantation, recipients receive structured auditory habilitation and speech therapy delivered by ICHF therapists at the SpHear premises, ensuring continuity of care and long-term hearing and communication outcomes.
